KINDERGARTEN THROUGH GRADE 8
All Grades K – 8 will attend library classes weekly at a regularly scheduled time.
Classes or individuals may also make use of the library during open library periods at the request of the teacher for additional research or for other purposes (computer use, Accelerated Reader testing, etc.)
The Library curriculum will be taught during scheduled library classes or in cooperation with classroom teachers. Library instruction focuses on the skills shown below. Skills, once introduced, will be reinforced during the subsequent years until mastered.

Grades 7 and 8
Grades 7 and 8 will attend sessions for research and project-based assignments as needed or requested by classroom or specials teachers at which time all skills will be reviewed and updated as necessary. Students are allowed to check materials out at any time.
