SUNDAY SCHOOL

The Early Childhood Program at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs is proud to offer a unique Sunday School that is designed to support parents’ efforts to guide their children in the Catholic Christian tradition.

• Parents are invited to bring their 3, 4 and 5 year olds to the School during 10:00 a.m. Mass on Sundays from September 26, 2010 through May 1, 2011. 
  
• The Sharing God’s Story preschool and kindergarten curriculum we use was developed to stimulate imagination and creativity in children while exploring Bible stories and increasing their knowledge and love of God and Jesus.  
• Age-appropriate activities, crafts, and music enrichment will help them experience vibrant faith and celebrate their place in God’s family. 
• By learning the sign of the cross and the Lord’s Prayer as well as other prayers, the children come to recognize that prayer is talking to God.  
• Scripture cards highlighting each lesson are provided to parents to enhance these teachings at home.
