Age guidelines for our Early Childhood, Kindergarten and First Grade
Admission Decisions
Decisions are based on the following considerations and criteria:
* Screening for applicants entering grades Junior Kindergarten - 8th grade.
* Review of the applicant's previous school records for Grades 1-8.
* Children entering Preschool through Grade One should meet the following age requirements:
Admission Policy
Our Lady Queen of Martyrs School admits students of any race, national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, national or ethnic origin or sex in the administration of its hiring and personnel and education policies, admission, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school administered programs as required by the terms of Title IX of the Educational Act of 1972, Public Law 92-316, as amended by Public Law 93-586.
Decisions are based on the following considerations and criteria:

* Review of the applicant's previous school records for Grades 1-8.
* Children entering Preschool through Grade One should meet the following age requirements:
- Preschool - must be 3yo by September 1 of the enrollment year.
- Pre-Kindergarten - must be 4yo by September 1 of enrollment year.
- Jr. Kindergarten/Young 5's - must be 5yo by November 1 of the enrollment year. Must complete PS3 and PK4 before qualifying for Jr. Kindergarten
- Kindergarten - must be 5yo by September 1 of the enrollment year.
- Grade One - must be 6yo by September 1 of the enrollment year.
